To all Exhibitors

The Show Committee have been working hard to resolve issues that occurred in 2017 and to learn from last year’s mistakes so I am afraid the times they are a-changin If you know who wrote that you’re be as old as me, but back to correcting these issues it has been necessary to make some substantial changes.

Show Date

Same as before August Bank Holiday weekend: Setup Friday 24th,

 Show days Saturday 25th – Monday 27th

 2018 Venue

Due to issues with the infrastructure of running an outdoor show, wehave taken the decision to move indoors for the 2018 show, we are staying within Cannon Hill Park, but we are moving to the MAC (Midland Arts Centre) in doing this it also solves the issues with security, inadequate toilet facilities and access.

 2018 Schedule

Last year we published the schedule on the web site and sent copies by email, the email option had to suspended because of complaints it was too big and was expensive to print to resolve this it has been necessary to produce a completely new show schedule in two sections.

Section 1 for associations this contains a lot of changes to make staging simpler for exhibitors.

Section 2 for individual exhibitors. Changes Classes, clarification on presentation and a new age group 15 – 18 yrs.

These will be mailed to association secretaries in February, Section 1 for Association Use and Section 2 for the notice board for Plot holders who don’t have internet access, but will be published shortly on the web site for viewing or download and printing, for those who want to get a head start with the changes.

Exhibitors who entered last year will be sent copy by mail in February.

Anyone who does not have internet access can get a copy by contacting Myself (Show Secretary) or Dave Hubball (assistant Show Secretary).
